Thoughts Along the Way: Sweater

November 22nd-29th: I casted on this project after taking a bit of a break from knitting due to being in my last semester at school. But...I am excited to do this and seeing the progress so far has been nice. This is only my second sweater project, my first being, of course, the Step by Step Sweater. Again, I like this yarn (not as much as the Sirdar)! And I am glad I picked this color, thank you mom for the suggestion! I have taken a bit of a pause on working on this project because I am trying to get all of my Christmas knitting done in time! Two more little projects, then I'll get back to this sweater. In my week of working on this, I got the back panel and shoudlers done, and am now working on the front panel.

December 30th: I am back to this project! After all that gift knitting! I joined the front and back panels in the round last night. So, now I will just keep knitting for years until I have it the length I want. I am about to connect the third skein of yarn to this sweater. I am excited. I like the design, I like the color, I just want to get it done before it gets too warm again.

February 2nd: I attached my fourth skein of yarn yesterday! I made a good amount of progress on my lazy Sunday. My roommate and I watched "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (the best one) and "Catching Fire" (the best one). Still working the body in the round, forever and ever. But hopefully it will be done soon, then on to the sleeves! Its still 30 degrees where I live, so I am hopeful I'll finish in time to wear it.

February 10th: I finally finished the body! I love the little ribbing at the edge and I am so happy with the length! Now to the sleeves.
